Seated yoga is a gentle practice in which postures are performed while seated and/or with the aid of a chair. Chair yoga classes are suitable for those with physical disabilities or who typically might find a typical yoga session too challenging. It is also a great form of yoga for beginners or anyone who wants to focus on a gentle practice.
Seated yoga is a gentle practice in which postures are performed while seated and/or with the aid of a chair. If you are unable to stand or lower to the floor this will be factored in by the instructor. The poses, or asanas, are often adaptations of modern yoga poses.
As with many forms of exercise, seated yoga can be modified for people of varying abilities. Our yoga classes are suitable for all levels. We have expert teachers who can adapt and guide you throughout so you will leave feeling relaxed, recharged and energised.
Improves Flexibility - When it comes to flexibility, the rule is “use it or lose it.” by gently challenging your body with chair yoga, you can increase your flexibility and improve your mobility.
