Ironstone Programmes are a new personalised health service from Ironstone Wellbeing. Designed to help you move, train and live better.

Our tailored 1-to-1 programmes will incorporate expert coaching, focused 1-to-1 sessions, and access to Ironstone group classes. Built around three core pillars –weight loss, muscle gain and health longevity.

Each programme will be crafted to fit your goals, lifestyle and body, delivering sustainable results that last well beyond classes.

What differentiates an Ironstone programme is the transparency and consistency throughout the process. Right from the initial enquiry you will be able to dictate your goal and timeframe, our consultants will then work alongside you to keep you aligned to this goal.

About the Programmes

All of our programmes will follow similar principles, combining tailored meal plans, training routines, classes and appointments. However, dependant on your goals, each programme will fall into one of three categories: 

Longevity

Our longevity programmes focus on the key principle of extending healthspan. Simply defined as the timespan we are able to move well, exercise regularly and continue doing the activities that we love.

By quantifiably tracking metabolic age, clients will see how their day to day progress is attributing to a physical transformation that will benefit them later in life.

The aim; to help you stay healthy for longer. 

Weight Loss

Weight loss programmes have a number of negative connotation in the fitness industry. We realise that at Ironstone, many clients start classes and training programmes beacuse they want to “lose weight”. Often though, they have not considered how muscle mass or body composition will also play a role. 

While overall body weight will be important, Ironstone programmes will focus more on body fat percentage and the ratio of fat to lean muscle mass. At the start of the programme we will agree a sustainable weight loss goal over a manageable timeframe. This will lay the foundation to your training plan, from which your consultant will manage a steady calorie deficit and training plan that will ensure you can reach a suitable target weight. 

Muscle Gain

Our muscle gain programmes are designed to give you a sustainable journey to increasing full body strength and increasing overall muscle mass. This is not a “get abs in 30 days programme!” 

The importance of maintaining a healthy amount of muscle goes far deeper than just how we look at the beach. As we age our body naturally starts to lose its type 2 muscle fibre. If we are not regularly training our muscles, the fibres will begin to break down, leading to restriction in movement, struggle with balance and increased risk of joint problems. Our programmes will combat this and ensure you develop the strength to live life to the fullest.
