A class designed specifically for women only. Women’s Wellbeing and Yoga allows women to come to a class where the focus of the yoga poses, breath work and mediation are specifically tailored to women’s health and wellbeing.
Classes include a gentle yoga flow, wellbeing practices and relaxation. Having a class specifically for a woman’s needs is so beautiful and each woman can feel a deeper support and honouring of themselves and their bodies than they would in other classes. This class is open to all abilities and can be adapted for the use of a chair.
Each week we work intuitively with the natural spirals in our bodies, we practice poses that are created more fluidly with more feeling to mobilise and stretch the hip joints, and relieve tension in the body. We hold a lot of emotions in our sacral chakra and moving rhythmically and with ease can help to nurture and release these emotions.
We always start the session with an optional short share so that we know and you have time to understand what your body needs within the session ahead. Sharing in this way in a supportive environment with other women can be such a nurturing and nourishing experience within itself.
