Are you looking for children/teen yoga classes in Kettering? Then why not try Mindful Movers at the Ironstone Wellbeing Centre. All of our classes use Performance/Yoga as tools to practice Mindfulness, a healthy lifestyle and wellbeing.

We use a variety of techniques to encourage Mindfulness through Yoga, Play & Performing.

Our Vision – How to Book

To build self-esteem within young people, promoting a calm mind and active body. We offer classes to young people in Mindfulness through Yoga and Performing Arts.

Mindful Movers will be coming to Ironstone shortly on a Thursday evening. Provisional start date 27th May for a taster event followed by a 5 week course from the 10th June – 15th July. Children’s Classes will be at 4pm followed by Teen Classes at 5.15pm. Please keep any eye out for future updates across the Ironstone social media.

About Us

Hi, I’m Sam

I have gained a First Class BA Hons in Musical Theatre at The Guildford School of Acting. Having had the opportunity to perform across the globe, I have most recently finished playing Jerry Travers in Tophat The Musical. I have also had the pleasure of performing at The Thursford Christmas Spectacular, De Montford Hall and onboard the Seabourn Sojourn.

Over the years I have found that being active has played a positive part in my mental wellbeing. Taking regular meditation classes and gaining a qualification in Mindfulness, I have since been able to pass on fundamental lessons through the medium of performing arts to my students.

I have over 11 years of teaching experience with children and young people. A regular teacher at Pineapple Studios, Covent Garden London, I love being able to express myself and inspire my students to be their authentic self.

About Us

Hi, I’m Joanne

Having trained professionally on the BA Musical Theatre course at The Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, I have since worked professionally as a performer at The National Theatre, The Arts Theatre, and The Pleasance Theatre.

I find performing arts to be a channel to express myself and release energy in a playful way, be it through a character, dance or the acoustics of singing.

I have 9 years of teaching experience working with young people, teenagers and adults of all ages. In recent years I have since broadened my skills, gaining qualifications in teaching Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness. These skills have been integral to my growth, enabling me to live with a real zest for life. My aim is to pass this onto our students, so that they wake up with enthusiasm for the day ahead.
