The Aart of Beauty

I am Nicole Aarts and I created The Aart of Beauty in 2019. I have been a qualified Beauty and Massage therapist for the past 14 years, starting my career at the wonderful, prestigious Ragdale Hall, followed by 3 luxury spas in Australia.

I feel so lucky to have chosen a career path that I am still so passionate about all these years later. If you ask me what I enjoy most about my job it is simply just making people feel better and taking away some of their stresses and anxiety that everyday life can be full of. I also teach Beauty Therapy at Northampton college and whilst I love passing my skills onto my students, there’s no way I could give up doing treatments on clients, I just love it!

I look forward to welcoming all my existing and new clients at the Ironstone Wellbeing Centre.

Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is a nice, medium pressure massage very relaxing and the most popular choice for releasing tension. Spa find oils will leave your skin smooth and hydrated too.

Deep tissue massage

Deep tissue massage is obviously a deeper pressure using forearms and a little elbow to release deep seated tension, and very tight, achey muscles. Good for those who find Swedish just isn’t deep enough for them, but this is not as relaxing to have done.

Indian head massage

Indian head massage focuses on the upper back, shoulders, neck and scalp. You start off in seated position where I can focus on your neck and shoulders, before moving you onto the couch to continue with the scalp massage. A very relaxing and popular treatment, plus the oils act as a beautiful conditioner for the hair.

Aromatherapy massage

Aromatherapy massage is a lighter pressure massage consisting of pressure points and soothing, flowing movements. Enter a deep sense of relaxation, starting off with a foot soak and a head to toe massage with a choice of 3 aromatherapy oils to choose from.

90 mins – £75

Pregnancy massage

Pregnancy massage is suitable for anyone over 12 weeks pregnant and uses Swedish relaxation techniques to relieve any tired, achey and stretching muscles. Pregnancy support pillows are used to gain optimum comfort during the treatment.
