Teen Yoga is a great way to encourage your teenager to take part in physical activity. Yoga is a great form of exercise, which is designed to support both your mental and physical wellbeing. The poses of yoga increase strength, flexibility and coordination. Many teenagers are highly active, taking part in a variety of sports, yoga can be just a get relaxing recovery session to help your teen wind down.
This class can teach a teenager the skills to cope in high pressure situations for example in exams to stop you from panicking. The breathing techniques of yoga teaches you the skills to take a few seconds to breathe deeply and focus allowing you to focus and calm the mind.
Aside from the skills this class can teach you, our teen yoga classes are a lot of fun and friendships will be built along the way. These classes are designed to be fun and engaging and will challenge you both mentally and physically. We use a variety of techniques to encourage Mindfulness through Yoga, Play & Performing.
