Children’s Yoga is a great way to encourage your children to take part in physical activity. Suitable for age 5-11 years. Yoga is a great form of exercise, which is designed to support both your mental and physical wellbeing. The poses of yoga increase strength, flexibility and coordination. All of which are essential in the development and growth of your child.
These classes are designed to be fun and engaging. Our children’s yoga classes incorporates age-appropriate games, story telling and creative names for poses within the class to ensure that the children are kept engaged at all times. We use a variety of techniques to encourage Mindfulness through Yoga, Play & Performing.
Alongside our term-time course we also run half-term Children’s yoga and wellbeing workshops, which incorporate yoga and arts and crafts to encourage creativity and educate the children in recognising emotions and supporting their wellbeing.
We also run Family yoga classes where parents, grandparents and carers are welcome to attend. The perfect way for all the family to get involved. Why not come along and give Children’s yoga in Kettering at the Ironstone Wellbeing Centre a try!
